Maria Chinese Evergreen
Aglaonema commutatum 'Maria'
Easy-going and forgiving, a lovely one to live with.
- Light. Easygoing about light, and happy in a shadier spot out of any direct sun.
- Water. Likes a drink once the top inch of soil has dried out.
- Humidity. Happy in average household humidity.
- Soil. Pot her in a regular, well-draining houseplant mix.
- Growth. A steady, well-mannered grower.
Best kept up high, out of reach of pets and children who like to nibble.
Tolerates low light but prefers medium indirect light. Water when the top inch of soil dries out, roughly every 1 to 2 weeks. Enjoys moderate humidity but adapts well to normal home conditions. Toxic to pets.
