Variegated Strawberry Begonia
Saxisfraga stolonifera ‘tricolor’
A little particular, but nothing you can’t handle.
- Light. Likes plenty of bright, indirect light, with the harsh midday sun kept off her leaves.
- Water. Likes a drink once the top inch of soil has dried out.
- Humidity. Happy in average household humidity.
- Soil. Pot her in a regular, well-draining houseplant mix.
- Growth. A steady, well-mannered grower.
Safe to keep around curious pets and little ones.
Bright indirect light keeps the variegation vivid. Water moderately, letting the top inch dry between drinks. Appreciates some humidity but hates soggy roots. A little fussy, so treat it well and it will show off for you.
