We're a plant shop. We want your plants to thrive and your data to stay private. Here's exactly what we do and don't do with your information — in plain English, no legalese.

📸 About Your Plant Photos

When you use our Plant Identifier, your photo is analyzed in mid-air and discarded. Here's exactly what happens:

  1. You upload a photo.
  2. It's read directly into memory on our server — never written to disk.
  3. It's sent securely to Claude AI (Anthropic) for identification.
  4. The result comes back to you.
  5. The photo is gone. Completely. No database entry, no file, no backup, nothing.

Anthropic's privacy policy governs how they handle data in transit. They do not train on API data. See anthropic.com/privacy.

What We Collect

When you create an account or place an order

  • Name and email address
  • Shipping address
  • Order history

We use this to fulfill your orders, send shipping updates, and manage your subscription if you have one. That's it.

Payment information

We don't see or store your card details. Payments are processed by Stripe, a PCI-compliant payment processor. Your card number never touches our server. See stripe.com/privacy.

Cookies

We use a single session cookie to keep your cart working and keep you logged in. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics. Your browsing stays on your browser.

What We Don't Do

  • We don't sell your data to anyone, ever.
  • We don't share your information with third parties except Stripe (payments) and Anthropic (plant ID — photo only, discarded immediately).
  • We don't send marketing email unless you've signed up for it.
  • We don't store plant photos. Not one.

Email

We'll send you transactional emails — order confirmations, shipping notifications, subscription receipts. If you sign up for our plant newsletter, you can unsubscribe any time with one click.

Your Rights

You can request a copy of your data, ask us to delete your account, or update your information any time by emailing info@nakedplantland.com. We'll get back to you within 5 business days.

Changes to This Policy

If we change anything material, we'll update the date at the top and let active customers know by email. No surprises.
